Join S^3 (Sasha, Shayna & Sai) for a day hike to Mt. Osceola (one of the AMC 4000 footers, if you're into that). It's 3.2 miles each way, but if the group is up for it (and conditions are favorable) we'll add the East peak, another mile along the ridge. Oranges and Oatmeal choco chip cookies will be consumed on the top.

This will be a moderate hike with the devastation of fall in its full glory on the summit. Snag the last of the leftover foliage & fresh autumn air before ~winter is here~

Logistics

We will hike Mt. Osceola (2000 ft elevation gain) from the Tripoli Road parking area. If at least one more driver signs up, we can take two cars for a total group of 8 people.

Other logistics (rides, meeting points, etc.) will be discussed at a pre-trip meeting on Wednesday, October 30, at 6:45pm at the MITOC office. You can also rent gear at this time.
