Want to get more involved in MITOC and help people explore the Whites? Apply to become a 3-season hiking leader! 3-season hiking leaders can plan and lead hikes or trail runs at circuses, or anytime throughout the rest of the year when winter conditions are not present.

Please join us in the MITOC office (W20-461) on Thrusday, August 29 at 8:00 pm for a mandatory 45-minute intro for new leaders, where we will cover MITOC rules and answer questions. There will be pizza!

If you have participated in two MITOC hikes you can start out as a co-leader, and may request an upgrade after co-leading two hikes. If you have outdoor leadership experience elsewhere and have participated in two MITOC hikes, you may be granted a full leader status on a case-by-case basis.
