This is a casual meet-up for our Belaydies community (our women climbers)! Climbers of all abilities are invited to come -- beginners welcome!

Objectives:

• To help us find women partners to climb with

• To encourage / mentor each other in a supportive environment

• To celebrate MITOC's diverse and growing female climbing community

Time:

6:45pm-9pm (+ drinks afterwards if folks are interested?)

Location: Brooklyn Boulders, 12A Tyler Street, Somerville, MA 02143

Schedule:

• 6:45pm Grab a name tag and mingle :)

• 7-7:15pm Introductions - What's your experience, and skills you're interested in learning?

• 7:30-9pm - Climb!

• 9pm Socialize with other MITOC women at a TBD nearby food / drinks spot, if folks are up for it.

Waiver: If you have not yet signed a waiver at the Somerville BKB, you may want to do so in advance here. It will save us all time when you arrive, to not have a backlog of people signing in.

Cost: The BKB entry fee, currently $36. They unfortunately do not offer group discounts. They are indeed offering free gear rentals for the evening. Just mention you are from the MITOC group to rent shoes, harness, and chalk bag for free. We also found this Groupon discount, so you can use that if you want. And from the signups it looks like lots of people coming will have guest passes to share---we made a extra page on the rideshare where you can coordinate that if you want.

Rideshare: Its pretty easy to bike/walk to BKB from most of Cambridge, but if you are planning to drive please fill out this rideshare.
