Prerequisites
Can run 6 miles comfortably

The Reservoir Trail in the Middlesex Fells is a moderately easy trail run at 6.2 miles and about 500 feet of vertical gain. We will meet at the South Dam Road Parking Lot and plan to depart at 6:35.

These runs will occur every Monday throughout the rest of the summer and maybe into the fall. They are for anyone who is new to trail running, is a frequent trail runner and would like to meet other trail runners, or is training for a race and looking to tack on more miles during the week.

The pace will be a fairly easy 10:30-11:00/mile. (For those that are new to trail running, know that tends to be a bit slower than road running. For this trail, you can expect to run about 1-2:00/mile slower than you would on the road.)

Depending on the number of people who attend as well as interest, some nights we might split into a faster group and a slower group, but the standard run is described above.

Fees: There will be no fees associated with this trip.

Transportation: - We will not organize car rides among trip members, but if you have a car and are willing to drive people, please mention where you will be leaving from in the notes.

  • If you need a ride, contact one of the drivers near where you live.

  • If you leave near Union Square, James is willing to offer rides.

  • There is public transportation that takes you near the fells.

  • You could also bike and/or run!

It's starting to get dark. Please bring a headlamp.
