I am very excited to share all that I have learned about New England's climbing history with you all! We'll talk about early explorers like Robert Underhill and Miriam O'Brien, Fritz Weissner's amazing breadth of climbing in New England, technological advance spawned from WWI, how that technology and culture have influenced climbing in New England, and much much more.
There will not be a practical component to this lecture, which should last around an hour, but feel free to bring your gear if you'd like some quick review at the end of lecture.
Snacks are not required either, but definitely encouraged.
