Join us to learn the basics of multi-pitch trad! This TRS will focus the basics required to follow mulit-pitch trad and prepare you to lead multi-pitch routes.
Time & Place
7pm in the MITOC Office W20-461, 4th floor of the student center
Required Gear

- tubular belay device + locker
- double-length nylon sling
- prusik loop + locker
- 2-4 additional lockers
- additional prusik loop+ locker
- cordelette

- Building trad anchors
- Belaying a second
- Rope and gear management
- Tethering to the anchor using your rope
- Meandering routes and communication
- Risk and the importance of self-rescue
