Join us on an 9 mile (3,000ft elevation gain) hike to the summit of North Kinsman and South Kinsman.
Weather is looking really good in the mid-20s.
The plan is to start at Lafayette Campground and hike 1.5 miles to the Lonesome Lake Hut. The hut provides a great place to make gear changes if necessary. Then we'll continue 2.5 miles farther to the summit of North Kinsman. We'll make a game time call if we'll continue another mile to the summit of South Kinsman where we can get a great view of Franconia Notch. Then we'll turn around and head back to the Hut before returning to the trailhead.
