Join Kathy, Mason and Florian for an attempt to submit Mt Washington, the highest peak in the White Mountains, via Lions Head winter route!
The hike is 7 miles long, with 4300ft of elevation, and a very steep section where we'll gain 1000ft over a half mile.
Recent above treeline experience is mandatory. You must be comfortable with full-face covering, as well as using an ice axe and crampons. You will need to bring 2 pairs of ski goggles.
In order to get an early start, we will be leaving Boston at 7pm on Friday and staying at Intervale.
