- Some winter hiking experience
We will be heading up Mt Liberty via the Liberty Springs trail, potentially also hitting the neighboring Mt Flume depending on timing and conditions.
Liberty and Flume are both 4000-footers in the Pemi wilderness, with pretty solid views if the conditions are right.
This will be an out-and-back trip. The trip is about 3000' of elevation gain. It is 8.6 miles round trip if we stop at Liberty, or 10.1 miles if we include Flume.
This is a moderate to difficult trip.
