- Prerequisites
- Some experience with traction (microspikes or crampons) and good level level of fitness (it's a long hike)
We'll be heading up Mt Moosilauke (wouldn't it be meta if we saw a moose!) along the Beaver Brook Trail. It's almost 8 miles and almost 3000 of elevation gain. And we'll be above treeline!
Be prepared to use crampons, ice axes (we'll go over how to use them), and have full coverage with goggles and balaclava to keep the cold out.
