Come experience a longer winter day in the Whites on Mt. Waumbek! We’ll gain 2800 ft in elevation over a 7.8 mile round trip hike. Along the way, we’ll stop at Starr King to check out some ruins and snag some views before continuing on to tree-topped Waumbek. It’s the perfect hike to get some low-stakes practice with gear and endurance on a nice, brisk day in New Hampshire.
