For this trip we will head up to North Conway for a day of volunteer trail work, a film festival, and a night of camping. The Granite Backcountry Alliance (http://granitebackcountryalliance.org/) has made great progress this year in developing new ski zones throughout the White Mountains. This trip will be a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the backcountry skiing opportunities around North Conway while giving back to one of the local communities where we recreate.

DETAILS: We’ll leave early Saturday morning to meet at the Maple Villa Glades trailhead by 8:00AM. The volunteer work will be 4-5 hours, then we'll find a camping spot, followed by a trip to the backcountry film fest Saturday night (tickets required).
