The keyholder training consists of a work day where we will perform maintenance on the cabin and grounds. During the day, we will take a break for the cabin managers to explain how the cabin works. After you attend this training, you can reserve and use Camelot whenever you want. New MITOCers are welcome -- you do not need to have any previous experience with the club. Existing keyholders are also welcome to attend.
Please plan to arrive at the cabin by 10am on Saturday. This means leaving Boston no later than 7:15am. The cabin will also be open Friday night if you prefer staying up late to getting up early. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the cabin. We'll wrap up by 5pm at the latest. Typically some folks will head home right away and others will stay through Sunday in order to go hiking or climbing or just relax around the campfire on Saturday night. We will attempt to faciliate ride sharing between drivers and car-less individuals once signups close.
Signups for this trip close on Tuesday, October 16 at 8pm. If you need to drop out of the trip for any reason, please do so on or before October 16. Late drop outs make things much harder to organize and will jeopardize your ability to use Camelot in the future.
You must have signed a MITOC liability waiver in order to attend this trip. MITOC membership is not required to come to the keyholder training, although you will have to become a member before you can reserve the cabin.
