We're running an INTERMEDIATE TOP-ROPE day trip to Rumney (Kennel Wall). You must be solid on top-rope belaying.
Option to sport climb whatever you're comfortable with. Option to practice cleaning sport anchors if you took the 7/20 TRS and want to practice with supervision.
Itinerary:
- 6:45 am - leave Boston
- 8:45 am - meet at Rumney (2nd parking lot)
- 6:00 pm - pack-up and head-out
- 7:00 pm - possibly dinner on the way home
- 9:00 pm - back to Boston
What to bring:
- HELMETS (required), harness, chalkbag, belay device (ATC/grigri) w locking carabiner, climbing shoes
- Sling / PAS if cleaning anchors
- Hiking shoes, rain jacket, headlamp.
- Non-deet bug spray, sunscreen
- Lunch, snacks, water
- TP / purell
- and stoke! We love enthusiasm and a team-player mindset.
