We're running an INTERMEDIATE TOP-ROPE day trip to Rumney (Kennel Wall). You must be solid on top-rope belaying.

Option to sport climb whatever you're comfortable with. Option to practice cleaning sport anchors if you took the 7/20 TRS and want to practice with supervision.

Itinerary:

  • 6:45 am - leave Boston
  • 8:45 am - meet at Rumney (2nd parking lot)
  • 6:00 pm - pack-up and head-out
  • 7:00 pm - possibly dinner on the way home
  • 9:00 pm - back to Boston

What to bring:

  • HELMETS (required), harness, chalkbag, belay device (ATC/grigri) w locking carabiner, climbing shoes
  • Sling / PAS if cleaning anchors
  • Hiking shoes, rain jacket, headlamp.
  • Non-deet bug spray, sunscreen
  • Lunch, snacks, water
  • TP / purell
  • and stoke! We love enthusiasm and a team-player mindset.
