We're running an INTERMEDIATE TOP-ROPE day trip at Farley. You must be competent / proficient at top-rope belaying. The climbs will feel like they're in the 5.9-5.11 range (even though they are technically 5.6-5.10).

Itinerary:

  • 7:00 am - leave Boston
  • 8:30 am - meet at Farley (parking lot closest to Wall of Early Morning Light)
  • 9:00 am - reach Crag-X (20-25 min approach, uphill) Ropes come down whenever it rains too much to climb.

What to bring:

HELMETS (required), harness, chalk bag, belay device (atc/grigri) w locking carabiner, climbing shoes, hiking shoes, rain jacket, headlamp. Non-deet bug spray. Lunch, water, purell. And stoke. Lots of stoke.

  2. What are you climbing indoors currently? Outdoors?
  3. Do you have rope or quickdraws? (so we can put up more than 4 climbs?)
