If you have ever wanted to learn whitewater kayaking, this is the way to start. Pool sessions are an essential first step to learning kayak equipment basics, safety, and rolling. These are skills that you will need to go on beginner river trips.

Roll sessions will be held at the MIT Alumni Pool on campus, 7-9pm at the Alumni Pool.

In order to participate in the open pool session, you must be a MITOC member in good standing (with a signed waiver) and pay the trip cost: $15 or $25 with noseplugs.

Pool sessions are very popular and we only have a few spots each week, so 1) please only sign up if you are pretty sure you can make it and 2) if for any reason you cannot make it email me (bodwyer651@gmail.com) ASAP so I can notify people on the wait list.
