Did you know that Boston is home to one of the fastest growing custom ski companies in the U.S.? Have you ever been curious about how skis are made or why design matters? If so, now is your chance to learn more directly from the builders and designers.

Parlor Custom Skis have become known for high quality, custom designed skis for use in the frontcountry and the backcountry. On Wednesday nights, Parlor opens up the factory to visitors to learn the ski building and design process. We are reserving one night, from 6-8pm, to tour their shop and learn more. They will provide us with food and drinks.

From the guys at Parlor: "It is really a full evening experience. We lay up a pair of Skis, walk you through the Ski building and design process, give you the full factory experience. You can ask questions talk skiing, whatever you guys are interested in. If you have gone on a brewery tour it is a lot like that."

Cost:

  • $25/person for food and drinks
  • Transportation not included, must find your own way

Getting There:

  • Address: 175 William F. McClellan Hwy, East Boston, MA 02128
  • Close to the Blue Line

If you sign up and then need to cancel, please let me know in advance as they are ordering us food, I want to make sure others can go as well
