~3.8 miles. Hoping for a Sunday hike with great views and a shorter drive? Come up Mt Monadnock! We will be taking the White Dot trail on the way up and the White Cross trail on the way down. The entire loop is 3.8 miles, so we should have plenty of time to start not at the crack of dawn (but still definitely early!) and practice using backcountry stoves to make hot chocolate. Even though this hike is short, Monadnock is exposed and icy, so we will be using traction and layering up for cold and wind.
