Hey folks! We'll be hiking up Mt. Moosilauke for some beautiful above treeline hiking on the Beaver Brook Trail (6.6 mi roundtrip, 3000' of elevation gain.) We'll learn proper crampon use, self arrest if there's a good spot, and most importantly, how to cook and eat chocolate mousse and fresh latkes (potato pancakes for the uninitiated) over the MITOC stoves.
Gear note: Since this trip will be above treeline, you will need to have/borrow full skin coverage (goggles, balaclava, windproof layers top and bottom.)
