Come join us for an extreme outdoor Fancy Dinner Party!, while practicing your expedition skills!
We'll be hauling a table, tablecloth, folding chairs, goblets, silverware, and Fancy Feast (heh) out into the wilderness, so we can enjoy a multi-course meal in the comfort of the great outdoors! If you enjoy delicious food, like hauling large numbers of bizarre things into the woods, want to wear a tie over your winter layers, or need more photos of yourself doing something bizarre, please join us!
In order to set up our dinner party, we'll practice hauling gear on sleds, like you might for a longer mountaineering expedition. We'll also have opportunities to practice setting up stoves, place setting, and any other skills you want to test out.
Our current plan is to walk down the Lincoln Woods trail, which is a beautiful, wide, and relatively flat trail along the Pemi River. While the exact location is subject to change as we monitor the weather this week, we're planning on doing around 5 miles or so of relatively flat walking, hopefully somewhere with beautiful winter scenery. Hope to see you there!
