Prerequisites
Have previously done longer winter hikes and some type of 3-season overnight

We'll be embracing the suck and sleeping on top of Owl's Head after 1-2 bushwhacks. We'll be taking the Lincoln Woods trail, to the Black Pond Trail, then doing the Black Pond bushwhack to get over to the Lincoln Brook Trail. We'll take that over to either the Brutus bushwhack or the Owl's Head Path depending on conditions. The top of Owl's Head in completely wooded with no views and a flat area on top. We'll pitch our tents and sleep the night on the top.

We'll have 8 miles of hiking with 3,300 feet of gain the first day to get to our campsite. Total mileage will be 16 miles.
