Tour two gorgeous alpine lakes, in a great (longer distance) intro to winter hiking. We'll head around Lonesome Lake, then take Fishin' Jimmy to Kinsman Pond, and head up to North and South Kinsman Mountains. Woodland creature sightings likely. There is an AMC hut at Lonesome Lake and a shelter at Kinsman Pond we might take breaks at.
It's 8.5 miles round trip with a 2570 ft vertical (assuming we make it to South Kinsman).

- Notes
The Fishin' Jimmy section of the trail is really steep in places, so traction (microspikes or crampons) is a must.
