Intermediate participants of school of rock can choose to come here or go to Rumney on Saturday, 9/9.
At the Den Rock practical, we will have fun top roping outdoors as well as focus on sport leading basics through mock leading (clipping, mock lead belaying). The approach is super easy. The drive is super short. There will be delicious snacks (I'll bring some dried fruit from the dehydrator I have still not returned to John). It should be an awesome day!!!!!!!!!!! :)
We will aim to be there around 8:30AM (leaving Boston around 8AM) and we will plan to be done by 2PM or so.
- Where: Den Rock, Lawrence, MA
- When: Leaving Boston at 8AM on Saturday, 9/10/2016
- What to bring: harness, climbing shoes, ATC belay device with locking biner, HELMET (these are different than bicycle helmets, mitoc rents them). If you cannot rent of these, please let us know and we will figure something out.
Also bring delicious snacks (you can make friends if you bring some to share), lunch, and water (2L), sun block, bug spray, tissue/toilet paper (a bag to pack out tissue), layers (including a rain jacket just in case)!
Please refer to our email for ride share information and let me know if you have any questions!!! :)
