An engineer, a philosopher, and a physicist go on a winter hike...

Want to know how that works out? Join us for a hike up Mt. Jackson (4052')! We'll take the Webster-Jackson trail (and might even loop over to Mt. Webster (3910')). The basic route will be 5.2 miles and a little over 2000 feet of elevation gain. We will practice basic winter hiking skills, including layering/delayering, glissading, the use of traction gear, how to look splendid with cheap or expensive gear, and how to eat chocolate. Be prepared for a great day in the mountains and potentially your first 4000'er.
