This is an advanced above-treeline trip.
Join Nathan and Rob for a challenging ascent of Mount Jefferson along one of the less traveled and more spectacular trails in the White Mountains. We'll be climbing 4500 feet and covering almost twelve miles (round trip), with about three miles of that being above treeline. Parts of the trail are steep and rocky, and may require some scrambling. Weather permitting, there should be excellent views of the rest of the northern Presidential range.
As with any above-treeline trip, this plan is contingent on acceptable weather conditions. If the weather does not cooperate, we'll find something else fun to do.
