Due to overwhelming interest via email regarding a ski waxing party in the office, I've decided to make this event(s) an official MITOC "trip".

The plan is to have two sessions in the ski waxing series:

[1] Wednesday 15th February 19:00-21.00: The first event is for beginners. During this session there will be a demonstration on how to wax, sharpen and repair your skis/snowboard (about 30-40 minutes) followed by time to try out your newly acquired skills on either your own skis or a pair of MITOC skis. Please only sign up for this event if you haven't waxed your skis before. [YOU ARE CURRENTLY VIEWING THIS EVENT]

[2] Thursday 23rd February 19:00-21.00: A more hands-off session where people who mostly know how to wax skis can come to the office to wax their own gear, meet other backcountry skiers, and potentially plan trips! Some assistance and tools will still be provided.

NOTE: Preference will be given to people who backcountry ski / have interest in AT/BC skiing and/or riding. (MITOC is not a downhill ski club).

NOTE 2: You have to be a MITOC member to participate in these events.
