We'll be heading up Mount Washington (6288'), the tallest mountain in the Whites, via the Lion's Head Trail. We'll gain over 4250 feet of elevation and hike over 8 miles round trip. The Lion's Head Trail is the standard winter route up Mount Washington and is above treeline for nearly 1.5 miles each way. Sunday's forecast is predicted to be extremely cold and windy, so you must be in great physical shape and have previous above treeline experience. If the weather looks like it might deteriorate, we'll hike another mountain nearby. Sign up if you're ready for an awesome adventure!
