Prerequisites
This shouldn't be your first winter hike. No XC experience required.

Join us for an unusual tour of Lincoln Woods - by cross-country ski! It also may or may not turn into biathalon.

We'll ski in to Lincoln Woods on (mostly) flat ground via the Lincoln Woods Trail and see how far we get. We'll hit some pretty sights at Black Pond and Franconia Falls, and continue along the Bondcliff Trail. When we can't ski any more we'll drop our skis and hike a ways until we hit our turnaround time.

We'll practice XC skills, layering and delaying, keeping our feet warm in XC ski boots, and of course, having an adventure! No previous XC ski experience required!

We'll target about 8 miles on XC skis, out and back to the trailhead.
