Come with us to explore the picturesque Pemigewasset Wilderness on snowshoes. If you’ve never done a snowshoe hike before, this one’s for you! If you’re experienced and just looking for an opportunity to break new snow, this one’s for you, too! After several days of fresh snow in Lincoln Woods, we’re aiming to be first on the trail on Saturday morning.
The hike will be about a 6 mile out-and-back journey with only about 300 feet of elevation gain.
Franconia Falls is a popular swimming hole in the summer due to it's natural water slide. Swimming will be discouraged this weekend.
