Previous winter hiking experience (below timberline).

We will ascend Mt Moosilauke by the Glencliff Trail. This trip is intended to be an introduction to hiking above the timberline for people with prior winter hiking experience. If conditions are good, we may be able to proceed all the way to the summit. If conditions are average or worse, we will turn back just beyond timberline.

In order to ensure an early start, all participants on this trip will be required to stay at Camelot on Saturday night. If you are planning to attend another trip on Saturday, it is your own responsibility to coordinate your transportation to the cabin.

Full winter gear including goggles, a balaclava, and mittens are required for safe travel above timberline.
