A great attitude!

Want to pretend you live north of the wall and have to climb the wall to get to safety and feasts?!?! Join us as we hike out to Champney Falls, set up camp and then climb on Saturday then feast overnight to then climb some more on Sunday!

Who

Anyone who wants to ice climb and enjoy the snow! Winter camping is great fun and a good excuse for feasting.

When/Where

We will meet at the Champney Falls Parking lot off the Kanc at 8am on Saturday January 28th.

The Plan

Hike in ~2 miles, set up a camp. Hike ~.5 miles and climb all day. Feast all night. Climb all day Sun and then go home.

Goals

  • Learn how to winter camp
  • Learn how to ice climb or learn how to ice climb better
  • Have a TON of fun hanging out together at night

Cabin Option

Magic and Mr. Migl will be driving up to Intervale on Fri night. You are welcome to join.

Contingency

If the weather does not cooperate we will still camp but will do a hike in the area or change ice locations.
