We are heading up Moosilauke, owned by the slightly less awesome Dartmouth Outing Club, via the Carriage Road. This should make for awesome sledding opportunities. We also want to celebrate the Moose of New Hampshire, some above treeline (Moosilauke literally means "bald place"), and chocolate Mousse. Also, sleds, because why walk when you can slide?
We would love this trip to be an opportunity for leaders (coC aspirants, possibly) and participants alike to get some above treeline experience. The hiking itself is intermediate, but the above treeline is real, and so is the sledding, so you don't have to be the hardest of the hard, but be prepared for adventure!
