New to winter hiking? Want to get more practice with your gear before you commit to something bigger? This is the hike for you!
Join us for a 3.6 mile round trip hike with 1200 ft elevation gain up to Mt Pemigewasset, where we will celebrate our victorious ascent by making hot chocolate. Mt Pemi is in the heart of Franconia notch. It isn't as tall as the surrounding peaks it does offer some impressive views!
We'll practice layering, using traction, and playing with fire (aka the stove).
