We'll hike ~3 miles with ~1500 ft of elevation gain to Hermit Lake below Mt. Washington in Pinkham Notch. We'll have a group dinner and build a snow shelter to stay in Saturday night, then return on Sunday. This will be an easy hike but active stay at the campsite to build the snow shelter (and stay warm). We plan to stay at Intervale Friday night to get an early start on Saturday morning.

The focus of this trip will be teaching winter camping skills, such as pitching tents, operating stoves, melting snow, building snow shelters, and eating lots of food (and gummy bears!)
