We'll be heading up Welch-Dickey for a five mile hike under crisp new England skies; this walk is more exciting than it has any right to be for the 2000ft elevation gain. Featuring some exposed granite slabs, so confidence with traction is a bonus.
Beautiful views, varied terrain, generally a lot of fun and under 2 hours from Boston.
Suitable for those relatively new to winter if they are confident summer hikers.
At least two British trip attendees guaranteed, but this is an open trip and all nationalities are welcome.
