Tradstravaganza Part 1: 3.05 Following Multi-Pitch Trad

Hi School of Rock, It's time for your "senior project!" Get out there and actually experience why "trad is rad!"

If you hope to participate in both 3.02 and 3.05, please sign up for both trips---there are two signups!

What: 3.05 Following single-pitch trad

When: Sunday, 10/16

Where: Starting at Intervale, climbing at various locations

Who: participants will be selected based a combination of the following criteria:

  • How many people can we take? (Hopefully all of you!)
  • Advanced vs. beginner track
  • Your participation in the class

What to bring:

  • All of your personal climbing gear
  • Tube-style belay device
  • Prussik cord
  • Nut tool
  • Cordelette
  • Headlamp
  • 4 lockers

The plan: After 3.02 on Saturday, we will take as many participants as we can accommodate to Intervale, MITOC's cabin in North Conway, to spend Saturday night.

We will break into groups of 1 leader and 1-2 participants. Leaders will choose multipitch routes to climb on Sunday, and participants will get an opportunity to follow.

Cars will then return to Boston independently as trips finish.

Please email Alex or Maia with any questions!

Get stoked!
