This lecture is part of School of Rock. I'm going to be talking about some of the history of rock climbing in the hopes of entertaining and giving you context. We'll cover some of the coolest firsts, the history of climbing gear, and maybe touch on some alpine and ice stuff.
The content will be about 75% verifiable fact, and the rest random anecdotes I've learned from old dudes and dudettes at the crag.
