Intro to whitewater trip! We will meet at the boathouse at 9am (Windsor St. behind the MIT museum) get gear, then drive to New Hampshire. We will teach the basics of kayak boats and strokes on flatwater for a few hours in the morning, then head to the river! Tentative destination, depending on water levels, is the class II Pemigewasset http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/1178/. Sign ups are lottery, with priority given to those willing to drive with cars/racks. Cost - $20 + gas money for drivers. What a deal for gear + instruction! Please pay on the MITOC-WS website
