We'll meet at the AMC Highland Center for a fun hike up Mt. Avalon (3342') and beautiful view of Crawford Notch, and onward to the summit of Mt. Field (4340'). Then we'll head back to the AMC via the Wiley Range trail. We are all about hot chocolate and cookies on this hike so bring something to share! This is a relaxed ~6 mile hike with a steep scramble on the Avalon trail, so this will be a great time to practice traction usage in addition to basic winter school skills.
