Hard! An overnight bid for a Mt. Washington summit. 3500' (4.9 miles) and 1000' (7 miles) over 2 days.
The plan is to hike from AMC Pinkham Notch Lodge via Glen Boulder Trail to Boott Spur up Mt. Washington and camp for the night nearby. In the morning, we'll attempt Mt. Washington and make our way back to AMC Pinkham Notch Lodge via Lion's Head or Boott Spur trail. Along the way, we'll have 1 sunset, 1 sunrise, and delicious hot food overnight.
Skills to improve include self arrest practice, winter overnighting, travel above treeline, and Mt. Washington sunrise/sunset photography (weather permitting).
