This is about an 8 mile loop with over 3500 feet in elevation gain. This trip offers amazing views as it goes where the trees don't grow and the wind does blow! (Aka above treeline.) Thus full skin coverage is mandatory: goggles, balaclava, warm gloves, etc.

We will be hiking the CLOCKWISE direction and exchanging high fives with another Franconia Ridge group as they go the less-awesome-than-us way of counter-clockwise. But we know where it's at: Clockwise or bust. Cause it's time.
