- Previous XC skiing experience and winter hiking experience required. Bushwacking and backcountry XC skiing experience is a plus!
We'll be heading up to Owls Head for a super fun time! The plan is to try to XC up to the Brutus Bushwack (7.5 mi). From there, we'll hike up to Owls Head (1.25 mi) before turning around (total distance: 15 mi skiing and 2.5 mi hiking). This is an ambitious plan and we may end up skiing part of the way back in the dark, but we'll certainly have a good time!
This is a great trip if you have some XC skiing under your belt and are looking to improve your skills!
