We'll snowshoe our way up to the summit of Mt. Passaconaway and some of its subpeaks, including Mt. Hibbard, the Wonalancet Hedgehog, and Nanamocomuck, following a loop formed by the Wonalancet Ridge, Walden, and Dicey's Mill Trails. Mt. Passaconaway is a 4000-footer with a wooded summit, but we will also be exploring the spurs off the main trails leading to a variety of spectacular views in all four directions!
The hike is about 9.5 miles with 3750 feet of elevation gain, including the spurs. Many sections of the trail are rough and steep, and there is a stream crossing (a branch of the Wonalancet River). Waterproof winter boots are essential.
