2.5 miles, 1000' elevation gain
On this hike you'll get a short trail, a warm lunch, ice skating, and beautiful views of Lonesome Lake and the surrounding mountains.
We'll take the woodsy .86 mile Lonesome Lake Trail up to the Lonesome Lake and then we'll take a lap (or two) around the lake (.78 miles). Then we will spend some time practicing using stoves to make lunch and we can head inside the Lonesome Lake Hut to eat in the warmth. After lunch, we will ice skate on the lake if the ice is thick enough and then walk or glissade back down the Lonesome Lake Trail.
