We are XC skiing to Greeley Ponds! Although not very long, this is a hard cross-country trail with some challenging narrow and steep sections. After a "very difficult" rated 1.3 miles section we will reach some easier terrain, ending at two beautiful ponds. We will work on technique to tackle the rolling hills, so you don't need to be an expert cross-country skier. On the other hand, you will need to have the energy to trash up and down some hills and be psyched to learn!
If grabbing trees to go up, crashing downhill in soft snow and effortlessly gliding on flat trails sounds fun to you, sign up for this trip!
We will start at the Greeley Pond trailhead. The trip is 5.2 miles round trip, 900' of elevation. https://caltopo.com/m/0J2D
