Prerequisites
Previous winter hiking experience, proper clothing including ski goggles and full face coverage for the above treeline portions

We'll be hiking up the west side of Mt. Cardigan on Sunday. While this is a relatively short hike for NH standards by stats alone (~4.3 miles, ~1600' elevation gain), there is an above treeline section near the summit that's very exposed to the elements. If we make the summit, we'll be rewarded with beautiful 360° views.

This will be a great chance to practice using traction and proper face coverage above treeline.
