We're heading to Rattlesnake Rocks (Blue Hills) for climbing trip to get more practice on real rock before the season begins.
Pre-req -- you must be competent / proficient at top-rope belaying given the number of leaders we have.

Where and When:

Saturday 3/30 @ 10am - 4pm. (Cars depart around 9:15-9:30 am)

Please park on the north/west shoulder of the road. (1539-1547 Wampatuck Rd, Quincy, MA 02169. GPS: 42.230552,-71.040188).
Rideshare to follow.

Gear:

  • Helmet -- REQUIRED for all outdoor MITOC climbing trips
  • Harness, climbing shoes, chalk bag
  • Belay device (ATC/grigri, etc) with locking carabiner
  • Lunch / snacks
  • Water
  • Headlamp
  • (optional) personal anchor system
