In the east of the White Mountains, there is a mountain called Moriah. We are planning to climb it! There should be several views over the Presidential and Carter range along the way, and we will pass through Mt Surprise.

We will take the Carter-Moriah trail, which is a hike of about 8.5 miles and 3300 ft. of elevation gain. Alternatively, we could also take the slightly longer Stony brook trail, or even try a loop. We're planning on going at a moderate pace throughout the hike.

We're planning to leave Cambridge at 6:00am on Saturday 2 September.

We're hosting a required pre-trip meeting on Thursday at 8pm via zoom (link will follow).
